If a finger or hand is detected in the operating point area, the RKC-500 Detect-A-Finger drop probe device can prevent the welding machine from starting its stroke. The key component is a sensor probe module with a rod shape, which can be installed on or around the workpiece, and a control module. When the welder operator starts a stroke, the sensing probe is released and lowered. If the probe detects more than just the material, it will avoid loops. If the operator's finger or hand does not enter the operating point area, the sensor probe will fall into its preset position, and the control unit will allow the welder to operate.
