Members of the Minden Lions Club recently dedicated their second eyeglasses recycling drop-off box in the city. This box is located between Burke’s and Tractor Supply on Homer Road and will make it even more convenient to drop off new and used eyeglasses/prescription sunglasses so that they can be recycled and distributed to those in need.

We appreciate the following individuals and businesses who helped make this project possible with their donations:

Lion Tracy L. Campbell – project coordinator

Lion Patony Morrow – bin and lock donation

Perryman Welding – powder coating services

Lion Dwayne Anders – concrete base and installation
