North Anson-"Jamie", Arthur James Brown Jr. died unexpectedly at his home in North Anson on October 27, 2021.

Jamie was born in Brunswick on December 5, 1970. Before long, Jamie's outgoing personality began to form and win hearts and minds. He has a heart of gold and will do anything to help anyone at any time. He takes care of his brothers, and they look up at him with love and admiration.

Jamie lived in Yarmouth for 16 years and then moved to Bowdenham, where he graduated from Mount Ararat High School and District 10 Technical High School. He participated in the welding course and won the best welder award in the class. His first job in a new industry was at the Bath Steel Plant and then Gowan Marine. He went on to become a certified pipe welder and worked for MB Mechanicals, Tigpro and other companies engaged in stainless steel welding.

Jamie illuminates a room with his ability to easily connect with others because he has a sincere interest in people and events, and likes to be with them and tell stories. He is a great person, and everyone who knows him loves him.

His ability to solve problems and his tendency to solve problems was obvious early on, and Jamie never tires of trying new things. He is definitely "MacGyver"! As a perfectionist, he is known for his excellent work and he is always busy doing things for others. Jamie likes everything that has a motor. It doesn't matter if he has skis, wheels, or floats, whether he is riding or repairing! He especially likes his Harley!

When Jamie lived with his daughter Colby and her mother Melissa in Gray’s own home, we unfortunately suffered an off-road vehicle accident and we almost lost him. Thankfully, he survived. Although it left him with constant pain and back damage, he was a very hard worker, even though the accident changed his life. Jamie moved to Embden and lived there for many years, then moved to North Anson, where he was happy to have a garage where he could work again.

Jamie left behind his mother and stepfather Ruth and Bruce Black, his father and stepmother Arthur and Karen Brown; his brothers Jeremy Brown, Justin Brown and Luke Black; his beautiful daughter Kolby Brown and her mother Melissa Roy; his three nephews Isaiah Brown, Preston and Reed Black. In addition, he left behind many close relatives, aunts, uncles and friends.

Jamie will never be forgotten, he has left many fond memories for all of us. Jamie, rest in peace now, don't suffer-you will always be loved!
